About Us My interest/love of animals started 28 years ago. I had been informed that Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were great with young children. So off to Crufts I went, to see the 'Cavaliers' . that's when I was 'hooked'. I had bought all the leads, bowls, combs, and everything I thought a puppy should have - but still no puppy. I rang a local person who was very helpful. Her name was Mrs Sandra Ireland. I purchased a pretty Blenheim bitch - my first delightful Cavalier, whom I named Purdy, sadly Purdy left us early in life.
I missed having a Cavalier so, I rang Sandra and she had a ruby dog, which she had planned to show herself. -He was called Charnel King Crimson - pet name Herbie. I began showing him and it was great fun. I kept spotting a little Tri-colour dog - Ewecote Blue Blazer. I thought he was just fantastic and I wanted one just like him. Mrs Storar let me buy a sweet Tri-colour called Tiffany. Mrs Storar then changed my life forever by selling me Ewecote Cenci. I also bought a Blenheim bitch from Mrs Mavis Moss; her name was Sombur Adorable Amy. These 2 bitches are behind all of my breeding line.
I had been given 2 CC's and 4 Rcc's with my other show bitch, who I called Muffity Ribbons and Lace pet name Lacy. She was a beautiful little Blenheim bitch, a delight to show and had she achieved just one more CC she would have been my first English Champion of my own breeding.. Then it happened!!! I bred another litter of Blenheims, I felt they were a nice litter but I was still not too confident - as I was in the early stages of learning. I then took a little Blenheim bitch from this litter to her first show; I named her Muffity Adorable Victoria - pet name 'Vicky'. She has her own page.
At Richmond
Championship Show under Judge Jenny Thornhill, we won the Minor Puppy Class
then Best Puppy Bitch. A few weeks later my little Muffity girl won the Puppy
Class again at LKA in Birmingham, the Judge was Norma Inglis. She also won the
RCC! Over a period of 25 years I have sold a few dogs abroad, all have done very well in the show ring and their progeny are now producing Champions. You can read all about them on the Overseas page I have also judged at many shows, it was a delight to have judged at the Scottish Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Open Show, as I was born in Scotland. I also judged at the Midland Cavalier Open Show. I would like to thank everyone who has entered under me. Please always remember, at the end of the day, you are always taking the best dog home.
I think I may have found a person to carry on with the Muffity line, my delightful Grand-Daughter Chloe, she is almost 6 years old now and I feel sure she will be in the ring very soon. My team tell me she can wash and dry a Cavalier.... Jenny Hall
