Filming Restoration

Where do I begin.... So much of this has happened over a long period I find it difficult to remember.

HillsHills with Leo

The first advert I did was when Muffity Which Leo was a baby and Hills Science Diet wanted a puppy for their advert. By the time I saw the advert he was 4 years old, but that's advertising! Some of the things you just never see, ending up on the cutting room floor most likely ????

We have also done some advertising for the dog food labels Pedigree and Winalot. To my delight the Cavalier has just appeared on the labels of Winalot. Those photographs were taken at least 5 years ago!

It isn't always easy to remember what happened, it is so easy to loose track. Pets in My Pocket were fun, all the different puppies, although the Pets in My Pockets didn't look much like cavaliers in the end!!!!!!!!!!!!! But that's life and mouldings… I did see them once or twice on the television.

The Oil of Olay I have never seen and many many more but from time to time I pick up a magazine and there they are, looking back at me!

I think the best surprise was at Crufts, the Millennium Year 2000 - Victoria's puppies on the bill board above the stand for Pedigree Chum. I was then shopping, looking for a calendar for a friend, and I saw a calendar and thought to myself 'that's a nice dog'. My friend said, "Look inside, more Cavaliers". Lo-and behold! My Cavalier photograph's taken by Marc Henry. On the front was Victoria's son, Muffity Adorable Ben, Muffity Adorable Stacy was inside and Victoria's puppies on the December page.

Filming Restoration

But the best was still to come ….

The film RESTORATION which won Two Acadamy Awards ! It's was based on King Charles II and the Great Plague of London. I had so much fun in the making of this film, it was hard work but the dogs just loved the fussing from the camera crew and actors.

The actors where Hugh Grant, Robert Downey Jnr. , Meg Ryan, Sir Ian McKellen, Sam Neil and not forgetting myself and my great friend Sarah who was so much help on these long but fun filming days.
